If Ron Paul ran on the Libertarian Ticket would you vote for him?

Posted Monday, July 20, 2009 by admin

If Ron Paul ran Libertarian, he would definately be talked about in the media. Should Ron Paul run as a Libertarian?

What are your thoughts on Ron Pauls mentioning a march on Washington in his recent video newsletter from his campaign? Would you be willing to attend since marching in numbers has proven to be so effective during the early years of our country and up through the 70s?

My God yes !!! Ron Paul is the one candidate I have complete agreement on every issue. He is small government, non-interventionist conservative in the Barry Goldwater mode. I would love to see that happen.

No way, wouldn’t vote for him at all. I know a lot of people like him but he isn’t my cup of tea at all.

I’d vote for Mickey Mouse first. Cause, even though Mickey is a fictional character, he’d still be better than Ron Paul.

No, Ron Paul doesn’t really exist, he’s just the gathered fragments of some good republican talk that assembled on Youtube

    Yes.
If he’d promise me a $3000 a year for 4 years tax cut.

You people (nuts) really need to shut up about Ron Paul.

He’s dead. Done. Nothing. Yesterday’s news. A loser. He’s a has been already. He never had what it takes and he never will. He’s like a crazy old grandfather.

I know people who really thought Ron Paul had a chance. Kucinich is my favorite, but like Ron Paul, he never had a chance.

I did not vote for him as a Republican; why would I vote for him as a Libertarian?

Marching may have been effective up through the 70’s but I think they are now viewed as kooks and actually damage the cause they are supporting.

I’ve decided to vote for Ron Paul regardless of what he runs as, some idiots dont understand the idea of voting. Gonna vote for the most popular because he/she’s the most popular, get out of my country.

  • scott said on Aug 8th, 2009 at 11:25 PM:

It doesn’t matter what party he runs under, he has my vote.

The only ‘wasted’ vote would be to support the so-called “front runners” just to win for the party.

    yes
this is the only way I will vote this term
the rest of the candidates are way too marxist for me

How could Ron Paul possibly run as a Libertarian, or an independant, when he is currently running for re-election as a Republican congressman?

  • uncledjm14 said on Aug 13th, 2009 at 6:04 PM:

Not only would I, but I will, even if I have to write him in. I’ve had enough of voting for the lesser of two evils. I’ll not validate a candidate I don’t agree with by giving them my vote. Considering the current “media sanctioned” candidates, it’s Ron Paul or nothing.

First we need Diebold reform, among other things.

  • freedompath said on Aug 17th, 2009 at 1:36 AM:

I strongly believe in Ron Paul’s platform and integrity, and I’d definitely vote for him running on any ticket. Being that I am a Libertarian, this is an easy question to answer, but the fact that Dr. Paul had me vote “Republican” for the first time in my life since he was running for President under that Party’s primary then I was obliged to vote for him regardless.

As for the second part of your question, I think the media did their best to hide Congressman Paul from the American public, thus hurting his primary numbers, while promoting Guiliani to the end even though Dr. Paul beat Guiliani in all but one state’s primary until Guiliani dropped out. Therefore I’d definitely participate in a March on Washington showing support for Ron Paul and true liberty since there is so much grassroots support for Ron Paul and the media wouldn’t be able to ignore hundreds of thousands or even millions marching on Washington showing their support.

I would vote for Ron regardless.

I am also planning on being at the rally in DC whenever the date is announced.
