People are too smart. We will have healthcare reform by the end of the year, there will be much compromise until then.

its been a long time since the majority of the republicans have defended the constitution…isn’t that what the dems wanted during the bush years? I don’t see the problem…just wish SOMEBODY could introduce a bill that makes lobbying illegal. Big Pharma and the Insurance companies write the legislation…there will be no health care reform while this is going on. The problem is in DC, and WE need to demand it gets fixed. We either follow the rule of law (the constitution), or scrap it…

Sorry. The DEMS own appointed Director of the Congress Budget Office (a DEM himself) last week admitted that it’s Obama’s numbers…not the Repubs numbers that are bogus and lies.
Facts are facts. Will the Director of the CBO, due to his honesty, soon mysteriously vanish due to the Chicago mafia style strong-arm tactics that Obama cut his teeth on?

I don’t know what “lies” anyone is saying about health care reform. The Truth is that that Constitution doesn’t authorize it. Nothing else really matters.

Sounds like you need to get your head out of the sand. Just listen to economist, the Government Accounting Office, and your 52 blue dogs. Interesting how I never mentioned the “R” word. A major problem we have in this country on both sides of the aisle is so many people fall into the straight party line mentality. If my party says it, it must be right. If we truly want to solve the multitude of issues facing this country, people need to THINK and form opinions based on facts and common sense. I and most of the country know meaningful health care reform is needed. But to tell people the “Rich” will pay for it, is just telling the uninformed what they want to hear. If we increase cost to the rich ( alias – business_) don’t you think those cost will be passed to all? You and I are going to pay the bill. Think for yourself.
