I have a great advertising idea/campaign for a Nabisco product. Is there any way to pitch it to the company?

I have had this idea for over 2 years. I am not in the advertising/marketing profession, but I am a very creative left-handed Sagittarean with a plethora of ideas. I have new product ideas, as well as some television show concepts to be developed. Are there such things as consultants or freelancers in advertising? If I have a concept for a show, can I goto any media production company to pitch it??
look in business news sources and try to find who their advertising agency is. then talk to the agency. they will tell you to go away and not bother them.
