Does volunteering for a Political Campaign count as volunteer work/community service?

A lot of people have told me that Community Service is important for scholarship/college applications. Does volunteering for a political campaign count towards this?

If it is a Non-Profit organization.

It depends on the school or scholarship organization involved. Each organization has its own definition of community service and what is acceptable to them. Your best bet is to ask the school or scholarship organization itself. Good luck!
