Is Credit Profile Number a marketing term or a real number given by the government?

Credit Profile Numbers are being sold as if it is a specific number given by the US government that can be validated. I was wondering if anyone can prove this, or explain what a CPN is, and if it is just a marketing campaign used by companies online, thanks

The government does not issue CPNs. Companies selling CPNs are offering it as a way to set up a new credit file. This is illegal. You only get one bite at the credit apple and that’s with your own social security number.
Credit Profile Number is nothing but a marketing term used by companies trying to examine the second credit file issue. Creating a second credit file is very possible, but should not be considered some sort of government sanctioned activity.
“Validating” these numbers, as many of the companies claim they do, is impossible, because no independent government agency issues or validates anything called a CPN, or Credit Profile Number.
It is also illegal to charge for any credit repair service before it is completed, and thus many of the business models of the sites in question are not legitimate and should be avoided at all costs. If a website claims to validate credit, or repair credit, it is important to note that you do not have to pay them until that is completed according to the CREDIT REPAIR ACT.
Information is not illegal on the subject, and many E-Books claim to examine the issue. Implementing the creation of a second credit file is not the end of anyones credit woes, no quick fix is available for credit.
If you absolutely need to learn more about the subject you should buy an E-Book on the subject from a site that does not associate itself with any credit repair services. This is not the kind of service you want someone else handling for you under any circumstance. When it comes to credit, the best solutions is SELF-HELP.
Read an E-Book from sites offering no services, because the book can be designed in such a way that you will need their services to really gain any benefit.
The site I found online seems to be one of the few sites only selling an E-Book for informational purposes only. If you absolutely must learn more about credit profile numbers, or creating second credit files, CPNStore.com is one of the few resources in this area which only sells a book.
Just remember when it comes to something as personal as credit, the FTC suggests you keep your information private, and away from the hands of credit repair companies.
