Did the NY Times give MoveOn.Org a discount because the ad fit in with their pro-terrorist marketing campaign?

Posted Thursday, December 17, 2009 by admin

Ever since they’ve informed the terrorists of Bush’s Surveillance Program and the plan to go after Al Qaeda’s financial sources, they’ve found that terrorists represents their fastest growing audience.

Terrorists can find out all the latest on secret tactics we’re using against them, as well as the latest propaganda lines to use against our gov’t.

So where was the NY Times when ****** needed them….?
Alright, alright – fredrick z let the cat out of the bag….the discount had far less to do with the NY Times pro-terrorists marketing campaign, and far more to do with the fact that no one reads the paper anymore……65 thousand dollars for a full page ad in a paper no one reads….just who is ripping who off….

PS: I’m not comparing the NYT to Hitler, but rather saying ****** probably wished he had as much support from the NY Times as Al Qaeda (in Mesopotamia?).

PP: Terrorists are to blame for acts of terrorism.

Possibly. They’re both scum liberal entities and birds of a feather flock together.

I agree, its a strange newspaper.

Moveon bragged that they only paid $65,000 for that ad that should’ve cost approx. $175,000 . Now there’s accusations of collusion and treason for both Moveon and the NY Times . All I can say to them is “Smooth move Exlax’ .

  • regerugged said on Dec 24th, 2009 at 5:44 AM:

I noted that the Times had no qualms about publishing the ad. You are right. There seems to be a symbiotic relationship between the Times and MoveOn.

All I know is that the New York Times is radically leftist. That should tell you a lot. They are so liberally biased they are in mortal danger of falling over. They do NOT have the best interests of this nation at heart. No one ought to believe their liberal brainswashing attempts!!!! Traitors????????

Blaming terrorism on Americans how nice. Yet another chicken hawk who lives in fear of Islamic extremists.

Of course they did, the NY Times has an adgenda just like MoveOn.org!

It appears so, doesn’t it? The media has a history of being a friend to he enemy. Time magazine crowned ****** man of the year on Jan 2, 1939. He invaded Poland soon afterward.

I just heard that! Appalling! Moveon.org and NY Times are the ones that are running the democratic party. I dont, know, but there must be some kind of law against what the Times is doing. I hope this situation comes to light in the “mainstream” media, but I wont hold my breath.

    Normal price $167,000
    Price paid $65,000

    Discount given $102,000

I would be quite angry if I advertised in the NYT and saw this.

  • alphabetsoup2 said on Jan 5th, 2010 at 2:15 PM:

The New York Times is one of the few newspapers that does proficient reporting from around the world with a seasoned reporting staff. The paper is far, far less partisan than people think.

Ad rates vary a lot, and, it is rediculous to entertain the idea that the Times supports the views of all of their advertisers.

  • fdj1 said on Jan 6th, 2010 at 2:46 PM:

Just the fact that they printed that crap
    would be evidence of
    ” hell yes “

  • fredrick z said on Jan 9th, 2010 at 7:43 AM:

Not really. We regularly buy pages in the NYT for anywhere from 50-70% off rate card.

The rate can be even lower if they have left over space, called remenant space. Its just a matter of supply and demand.

Sorry the facts don’t fit in with your pointy-headed conspriacy theories.

  • Goldenrae9 said on Jan 11th, 2010 at 8:46 AM:

You know moveon.org was started as a PAC to stop partisan warfare and I can see why. The NYTimes is one of the most respected newspapers in the world and is an exceptionally valid forum for news. Obviously you don’t like moveon.org because you’ve bought into partisan warfare.

If they were really aiding terrorists why hasn’t the anti-terror pentagon done anything?

Also comparing a newspaper to ****** is ridiculous.

BRAVO!! I agree 100% if not a discount at least financial kick backs!!!!!!!!

  • shooter1001 said on Jan 15th, 2010 at 6:32 AM:

The ownership and editorial staff of the NY Times hates America with such foaming rage that, even in the face of falling advertising sales, subscriptions and stock price they continue to do any and everything they can do to support and advance their socialist anti-American agenda. This is simply one more example.

  • Beautifully Conservative said on Jan 16th, 2010 at 9:30 AM:

I read that they did. I wouldn’t put it past that left-wing filth.

  • enviroman said on Jan 18th, 2010 at 7:45 AM:

I agree with the majority of respondents: it will be a red letter day when we can all dance on the grave of that worthless birdcage liner know as the New York Times! I’m sure that the idiots that work there believe that they’re doing what’s best for America and that they are journalistic hereos who are upholding the finest traditions of the fourth estate and blah, blah, blah. What amazes me is that the ownership of that rag doesn’t seem to care that they are shedding readers as fast as Bill Clinton sheds his drawers at a hookers convention! How long can they withstand the losses before they finally close the doors? Most newspapers are struggling to maintain readership, but to constantly fight against America and to constantly degrade and demean our fine men and women in the military doeswn’t strike me as a sound buisness plan for future growth! Goodbye New York Times and VERY good riddance!

  • vtjames7433 said on Jan 19th, 2010 at 10:43 AM:

there was a time when the media still considered themselves Americans first. I am not sure how this all changed but now they seem to feel their job is to inform everyone of everything. I cant help but feel that many are just naive while others are blind ideologues and still others are just plain anti American

  • rosi l said on Jan 20th, 2010 at 3:02 AM:

Clearly the Democratic Party is owned by MoveOn.Org and the NY Times aids both. Rather than hope that the mainstream media reports this, maybe we should start demanding they do! Is there something illegal about what the Times has done? When does any of this mess become Treason? Thanks

  • Moody Red said on Jan 21st, 2010 at 4:11 AM:

They are both treasonist traitors and I believe they are affiliated with the Democratic party. And remember Hitlery said, she has a suspension of belief in the 4 star General Patraeus! I believe she will live to eat these words, along with the NYT and moveon.org

  • connor g said on Jan 22nd, 2010 at 2:44 AM:

Apparently so! Take heart though, the Times is fading fast! They are so out of synch that people aren’t reading it much anymore.

  • krupsk said on Jan 25th, 2010 at 6:41 AM:

Of course not. The NY Times may be liberal, but above all they are capitalists. I am sure they charged them full price. Liberals love money just as much as anyone else.
