Purchasing lists is like trying to fish for a specific type of fish in the ocean without knowing where it lives. You are casting a large net with low probability of finding the right prospect. Also, buying lists from not reputable sources might put you in a spammer list. I suggest you research the right candidates by going where they meet. Find all the angle groups, or VC groups and go to their meetings where they screen for new investment opportunities. The LA Business Journal had a list of the most prominent investor groups in a recent paper. You can get a reprint or web list from them. I know this is more work, but at least you would be getting your message to the right candidates.

Don't bother with this idea. With all the scam e-mails out there, it isn't likely that anyone will take your seriously or better yet, a recipient may turn you in to the cops. A better idea would be to write a letter of introduction to a person by mail. Not to "Occupant" but to Mr. & Mrs. John Hanson. You are going to need some compelling reason why they should listen to you. I would rent a room at a hotel and have a seminar on your idea. Ask them to join you with no obligation. Serve some sodas and cookies. You would purchase those through the hotel. Hotels are not going to let you bring in your own food or drinks.

use google ad words and have them go to your squeeze page where you offer a free report that would be of interest. In order for them to get the report, they have to give you the info you need.

trade email lists with other complimentary service providers

Hope that helps

You don't.

You buy one.

Put "sales lists" into google and you will get companies that sell very specific lists including accredited investors.

Oh, they are expensive.
