I like the campaign. I just wonder how effective it is. Will it make a difference?

well, it kind of goes back to what was considered beautiful in the past, i think. i don’t know if it will make a difference, but it’s nice seeing a more accurate portrayal of what most women actually look like. i think it’s great.

I think it is wonderful! It shows especially girls that there is beauty in everyone.

Personally, I like the campaign, actually, we have a lot of billboards along the city high way of Dove. They let us know that you need not have the Miss Universe package to be beautiful. =)

I think it’s a good idea – I don’t know how effective it is since most people who it appeals to are already aware that all real women are not rail thin.

Maybe if more companies do it and do it with younger models, it will begin to appeal to and have more of an effect on the younger generation – who are the ones we have to worry about for the future, and who, as evidenced by ‘how do i lose weight?’ questions on this site, are the ones who are at risk right now.

I like this company and trust their products. Although the commercials are great, Dove is trying to market their products to a broader group and increase sales. They’ve expanded into lotions, haircare and deodorants and need to sell these products to people who have not historically bought dove ****** products. Thus “everyone is beautiful enough for Dove.”

I like the campaign as well, and I really think that it will help alter the minds of society.

I especially like the one with all the little girls. Girls growing up these days have some serious body issues- I have heard my 6-year-old niece obsessing about weight and 8-9-10 year olds wearing high heels and belly shirts. It is getting ridiculous, and I blame the media as much as I blame their parents. We can’t control what’s ON tv but we CAN and SHOULD control what our daughters WATCH.

    Three cheers to Dove!!!
No altering of the mindset of adults is necessary, we already know that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes.
I pray it will help young girls/women who are fooled by magazine covers see that they are beautiful just as they are.

I have always used Dove and so has my mother and sister. We love the new campaign and hope that more people agree that finally a company is not afraid to use “real” women to sell their product and I hope that more people will start to use Dove because they are using “real” women. I just hope that just because they are doing this people don’t start to use other stuff.

i love it! it is very necessary, for all women but i’d say especially 10-20 year olds who are bombarded with sultry, skinny *** models it’s *impossible* to live up to. okay, yeah, dove just wants you to buy *their* products, maybe, but i support a company who shows many different body types, all beautiful in her own way, rather than some half ***** image of “perfection” that’s only going to make me and every other woman wish we were something else than what we are.
ps-nothing you can buy can make you beautiful, it comes from within and can only be enhanced or brought out with products, not created.

WHAT A RELIEF!! I love it. They show women who are real, and HAPPY about it. hallelujah!!

I think it’s a great idea. It will put it out there that you don’t have to look like a model to be considered beautiful. that just being yourself makes you beautiful.

I think it’s great, and well overdue.

I love that they are showing who real people are. And that you don’t have to look good to be beautiful. Beautiful comes from the heart. I also think that teenagers aren’t just seeing really skinny models now and striving to be really skinny and then becoming anorexic. I love the fact that now we actually see beautiful people. I really hope it makes a difference!
