I am more than apprehensive about online marketing, and with e-companies using anti-spam policies as marketing of their own, it is much more difficult to attract customers through direct e-mail. There is no reason not to and every reason to, pursue standard advertising practices for an e-business, and save up your money for a big search engine maximization campaign on the net, giving you long time virtual exposure to interested net searchers.
