Google, just go directly to the giant, they have a large range of services which will fit any budget. And besides, how many times have you heard people talking about a google rating? Compare that by the amount of times you have heard a conversation about a yahoo, msn or Jade rating.
As you are already in Google, you may want to try to start Blogs and PodCasts to promote your site and your gallery. You may also want to try page swirl and maybe even writing an ebook or an ezine on a related subject with a few links to your site and some contact details and sell these on eBay for anywhere between $0.01 to $0.99, which will also boost your visits, and may even bring you a little extra revenue.

If you have the online space covered then the area of focus could be your own town/ city where you could organise restropectives or shows of select/ chosen artist who are pushing the envelope to generate positive buzz about your gallery.
