You know what is pissing me off right now? the stuff I am hearing right now about Kane and this beating cab driver for 20 cent stuff.

this is some of the crap ‘m hearing around the internet:
“Oh he’s young, he’s immaure, he’ll grow out of it to be a good person”
” give the kid a break he’s only 20, he was drunk, we all make mistakes”

I’m sorry but this simply cannot be tolerated, what if that Cab driver was your uncle or your dad or grandpa?

Yet Sidney Crosby as an 18 year old rookie gets slashed in the mouth by Derian Hatcher, in the process he losses to teeth, so Crosby goes and talks to the ref about no call and bam, he’s labeled a diver and whiner for the rest of his life, something that I don’t think he will ever shake because of a few jealous American fans that will IMO never ever produce quite the talent like Crosby or a Gretzky or Lemieux so the next best thing to do? scrutinize and criticize his every move and label him a whiner because in the back of every americans mind, whether they will ever admit it or not, they are just jealous that there pathetic us national development BS will never ever produce a talent like Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, Sidney Crosby or Bobby Orr.

But oh no, not Patrick Kane, not america’s golden child, not the face of USA Hockey, they’ll forgive him, he beat a 60 year old cab driver that god forbid, could’ve been your uncle, grandpa or even your dad, but thats alright he’s gonna promote hockey in the states right? an american superstar marketed heavily to american audiences is great for the expansion of the sport right? no beating up a 60 year old helpless cab driver’s for a measily 20 cents is gonna make a dent in the campaign to promote an american star to an american audience, next great midget phenom that is the driving force behind making america the dominant hockey power it will be in 50 years from now right? am I right? Sidney Crosby is who USA wish Patrick can be some day but that simply will never happen, you guys came close with Pat Lafontaine one year in winning the MVP and Art Ross back in 93 but good ole Canadian Mario Lemieux robbed him of the distinction of being the first and only american to win the scoring title and perhaps, MVP in the NHL, and than ole Pat Lafontaine busted his ankle never to ever again challenge for it again, thank goodness we almost had a scare that year in 1993, I’m glad Lemieux robbed him of being the first and to date only MVP and art ross winner haha.

But my main point is that Crosby is still ridiculed to this day over a few rookie mistakes as an 18 year old and his since mattured into a young, 22 year old captain, youngest captain to ever win the Cup, first teenager to win the scoring title in any of the 4 major professional sports, youngest player ever reach 100 and 200 career points, lead the playoffs in scoring last year and lead the playoffs in goal scoring this year, yet Kane will get away with beating up a poor helpless cab driver because of what 20 cents? can’t let that little smidge wreck USA hockey’s little midget poster childs image though right?

Try and put your **** aside and realize that what I just said is pretty much all true, except Penguins fans, while american, they can never root against Crosby.

Well, apparently the “spirit” has “called” a bunch of fundies from Grand Rapids Michigan to move to Vegas and destroy one of America’s biggest economies. Not only do they have a million dollars in funding, but now they also have a ABC Nighline feature to give them a PR boost.

According to their neat little religious meterics, Vegas is unclean and they want to clean it up, which of course, if successful, would mean the end of Vegas as a destination to escape religious wackos…or the end of Vegas.

When it really comes down to it…thats all Vegas is…a place to escape the insanity of religion. But these wackos claim to be “called” to this neat little “ministry”. If thats so, why has the spirit waited so long to send in his little squad? Maybe the spirit wanted to wait until all the neat internet technology and mega-church entertainment props were availble before launching a his little ad-campaign.

If this doesnt work, I recommend that the Holy Spirit “call” on the top marketing exec’s in the country, zombify them, and send them on a self righteous anti-vegas campaign with first rate advertising, instead of this shlocky undergrad stuff.

My business is simple enough. Ads online for just starting at one dollar. No Credit cards are required or anything, how do I let people know about such a good deal? Personal ads can be submitted with as much personal info as you want to put there. We have a scanner and such. Even people with out the Internet can use this.

Is it because it is a . biz site that people dont trust it. All I wanna do is help people out by making something cheaper. Putting an ad in the news paper is not going to be a dollar. At the most 5 bucks should cover it.

I bet they’re trying to wipe us out! Isn’t it obvious? All of a sudden they start trying to appeal to the black community with commercial featuring all blacks and even a website called 365black.com. They are trying to wipe us out by using fast food to lure us in so we can all develop heart disease and eventually keel over! They now African Americans have a high rate of heart problems! Why are they trying to sell us there greasy fattening food? It’s conspiracy, I tell you! They are trying to get rid of us!

- Because the biggest job markets (and potential revenue) are in handful of U.S cities, Dimitri could spend precious advertising dollars selectively by remaining a specialist in technical jobs only or by focusing exclusively on the New York area. But, Hotjob’s profits would be limited and vulnerable to local market conditions. Furthermore, online companies were attracting investors, so if Dimitri didn’t position Hotjobs as a national player, he might miss his window of opportunity. Well-funded competitors would go national, then return to the local markets and crush Hotjobs.

*Option 2: Act local, look national.
- By focusing advertising on the country’s top seven markets, Dimitri could concentrate his sales force in Hotjobs’ regional territories (espacially New York where the national media is strong), hitting each with short blasts of a multimedia and telemarketing campaign. This option would include limited spending on national television advertising, giving Dimitri more bang for his advertising buck while establishing Hotjobs as a premium players. It would also allow messages to be customized to each city. However, a poorly planned and executed advertising message could make Hotjobs seem like a Low-budget, regional player-making larger companies and job seekers reluctant to sign up for a company they perceived as too small.

*Option 3: Advertise aggressively to position Hotjobs as a national brand
- By coming out fighting on a national level in this new industry, Hotjobs would get a head start by establishing itself as a leader in the business for years to come. But, Hotjobs’ main competitor Monster.com was better funded and already had an established public image. With much less money to invest, Dimitri could end up with no brand image while exhausting his limited advertising dollars.

I have an e-commerce site = http://www.liverystable.net, this site is for horse classifieds. What are some techniques and ideas for promoting the sight beyond typical SEO and PPC practices? I do have an aggressive SEO campaign going, but just feel like I have to be missing out on other marketing options that aren’t so search engine or even internet dependent, and until/unless I’m on the first page, I want to continue to try to market the site as effectively as I can.

I have never kept up with the news and I don’t know much about the whole campaign thing. I dont understand what an opinion leader is. I have looked it up online but there arent many examples that explain it in depth. I have a question for school that says to identify some of the opinion leaders in the presidential campaign last year. Do you think they are effective in swaying voters on way or another? Any info will be helpful! Thanks!
