Can you list the reasons why Bill Clinton was the WORST PRESIDENT of the last 25 years?

Posted Friday, May 14, 2010 by admin

ignored Al Qaeda and allowed it to become our biggest enemy during his 8 years in office… illusory stock market bubble propped up by internet speculation completely burst… more families having to take 2nd jobs in order to keep up with increased taxes… tried to get Bill Richardson to give Monica Lewinsky a job at the UN so she wouldn’t pursue sexual harassment claim… allowed companies like Enron, World Com, Global Crossing, etc to break many laws during the late ’90s via lack of SEC oversight… afraid to arrest bin Laden in Sudan due to “lack of evidence”…. bombed Iraq on December 16, 1998 because of its WMD… asked Saudi Arabian princes for million dollar contributions to his presidential library instead of asking for wanted suspects in 1996 Khobar Towers bombing… shook down the Chinese for tens of millions of dollars for his 1996 re-election campaign…

you pretty much got it. he disrespected the Presidency. Not to mention the other pres. in the last 25 have been pretty good. (i dont believe Clinton is the WORST pres.) but he def. isnt among the best.

  • Silly Girl said on Jun 14th, 2010 at 7:09 PM:

Well, my personal reasoning for disliking Clinton is as follows:

Clinton cut back Defense Department spending. My father works for the Defense Department (civilian). His job got cut, as well as several other of his friends (including a co-worker with a newborn baby.) My dad was out of work for 8 months and it was the absolute worst time of our lives. All four of us kids got nothing for Christmas, except what little I could afford at my part time job (meaning I really did get nothing except for my friends.) We couldn’t buy clothes, school supplies, etc. On top of it all, my dad still had to pay my mom alimony……….. sheesh.

It’s a personal reason, because I’m more democratic leaning anyway.

  • benninb said on Jun 16th, 2010 at 7:49 AM:

he cleaned up the economy, and is the only pres to have a budget surplus at the end of his terms. The ONLY thing that Clinton did wrong was to not keep his mouth and his zipper closed

  • Heinz M said on Jun 17th, 2010 at 4:26 PM:

In view of who is in the White House right now, this question is a non sequitur

  • mini said on Jun 20th, 2010 at 12:06 AM:

I’ll have to lie to give you even a single reason –
    So sorry!!

  • g said on Jun 20th, 2010 at 11:52 AM:

    nice sources on your propaganda…

and I LOVE how he allowed big companies to “break many laws”… a Republican lecturing on business ethics? you’re kidding right?

and I guess I’ll just use the excuse that Republicans always use for the good things Clinton did… THE CONGRESS WAS REPUBLICAN… WHY DIDN’T THEY TAKE ANY ACTION ON THESE ISSUES?

  • jersbulk said on Jun 23rd, 2010 at 3:18 AM:

I’ll give you the same answer I give those that bash President Bush….The President receives credit and criticisms that are not deserved. Clinton wasn’t the worst.

  • Feathery said on Jun 25th, 2010 at 5:20 PM:

The U.S. economy was the best it’s ever been under Clinton. He got rid of the deficit, and put the country “in the black.” I remember actually looking forward to seeing my investment statements. I would rather have a president that has a little romantic dalliance, than one who sends young Americans to their deaths, or be horribly maimed, in a worthless war that will lead us nowhere.

All that is true and do not forget about the Waco Massacre.

  • contour said on Jun 28th, 2010 at 9:04 AM:

Compared to Bush, Clinton is a towering genius, and a greater patriot. The trouble in the mideast is a fiasco caused by Bush. If you took a TV reporter, and camera crew anywhere in the Mideast, and asked any Islamic/Muslim person: “The trouble in your country, who’s fault is it: George Bush, or Bill Clinton”? Then ask: “The economic hardships that Islamic/Muslims face today, who’s at fault: George Bush, or Bill Clinton?” Then the reporter should find a Muslim protest march, and ask one of the marchers: “Why are you marching: George Bush, or Bill Clinton”? See what they say.

  • Answerman said on Jul 1st, 2010 at 9:28 AM:

He was probably the best president that I have seen in the last 40 years at the business of running the country, he was responsive to the people and he was a fiscal conservative. He left Bush with a balanced budget, he and Gore had cut the size of the government, and he was respected and well received all around the world. I know this won’t be best answer but it is the honest one, and that is hard to do to a dishonest question.

  • TM said on Jul 2nd, 2010 at 11:58 AM:

Clinton is probably tied for the worst with LBJ. What a discgrace to America. Good thing the people realized this & got a real man in as president now. God Bless GW & USA!

    Vote Giuliani ‘08!

Who fed you that bullshit. Open your eyes at the OUTRAGEOUS actions of that puppet on a string that we now have for a president. What the hell made you come up with this crap when there is more important and way worse presidential retardation going on.

  • Blueboofrog said on Jul 10th, 2010 at 10:52 AM:

You’re kidding of course. Look what we have now. I’ll take Clinton over Bush any day.

  • katsulover said on Jul 12th, 2010 at 1:37 PM:

Are you sure, because there’s this guy named Bush in office right now, and he seems to be a lot worse than the stuff you said.

  • alfawolfette10 said on Jul 17th, 2010 at 4:06 AM:

Republicans are self-serving and only care about making their “base” rich. Iraq is a mistake – a waste of our military and using our tax dollars to enrich oil & defense companies. True threats like Iran and N. Korea were ignored. Republicans thought it would be a cakewalk into Iraq to make some bucks – they were wrong.
So many of our troops have died.
Health care issues and jobs at home are being ignored.
    Look at the debt.
Things were much better under Clinton and he actually care about the citizens of this country.
Republicans certainly don’t have morality cornered.
I don’t have time to go on and on about all the idiotic and self-serving things the Republicans do.

Bosnia, had two friends serving there for seven of Ole’ Bill’s 8 years as president, hm, served more like hands tied. Somalia is an absolute disgrace, an atrocity happen there and we ran away.
Which showed the world what our real weakness is Democrats.
They buy and large are Socialist. To my knowledge I know of No fully Socialist government that is or has been successful.

The last good Democratic President was the last good one and Bill well he for me personally could prove
to be much worse than any president, he could prove to be our saxophone playing Nero.
