How do you find players in Halo 3 to play the campaign online with?

I want to beat it on legendary so i need people to play with. But idk if theres a way to search for players online or if you have to invite friends.

    The people you want to play with HAVE to be on your friends list… There isn’t a way to search through Halo 3…

    I would have to say invite people on your friends list or if you play on XBL you can ask people that you play with on there.

    You should have friends, but you can talk to random people u play with (play halo in a 4 vs 4 or something) and talk to em about it. If I got good connection soon, I can bring 2-3 with me ready to play legendary with you.
