Online advertising prices. How much should I charge?

Posted Wednesday, July 21, 2010 by admin

I am starting a new website that will feature advertising in addition to the site content. Is there a formula or any special way to figure out how much I should charge for advertising space and frequency? Especially during the launch phase when I won’t have an established page views and site visit numbers? What else should I do regarding launch advertising?

Check the rate structures of your competitors. Such as Google, Yahoo and MSN. Determine what your offering is in comparison to theirs and use their prices to establish a base-line for yours.
