How can I stop unknown senders from emailing me?

Posted Wednesday, August 25, 2010 by admin

I get a ton of unknown senders emailing me – telling me I’ve won a damn lottery or some kind of prize. It’s always from another country. I continually spam them. However, I keep getting this kind of mail. How can I stop these unwanted emails short of changing my email address?

Click options top right of your mail box then click spam protection and select your choices. Also when spam comes in tick the little box beside the message then click spam. Also click on your bulk icon and make sure spam guard is on. If not turn it on. If you are in the habit of subscribing to a bunch of junky stuff stop doing that and never reply to spam.

There has been a huge increase in spam lately. I have started to use a free programme Mail Washer rated 5 out of 5 by consumeractive magazine. It’s worth a try to see if it helps you. It’s not perfect but it certainly helps me. Download from
