How do you keep your friends from emailing you on myspace?

When I try to e-mail some of my friends on myspace, it won’t let me and it has a message from them saying they won’t be excepting e-mails for a while or won’t be on myspace for a while. How do I get that?

    If you go under account settings and then miscellaneous there is an option to set an away message.

    Thats not emailing, thats messaging.
    You click “account settings”, go to the “misc” section and then put in an away message.

    It’s really easy.
