How do I make photo files larger before emailing them?
I submitted a photo to a paper for print but they said it was much to small could I make it larger and resend it….. I have no idea how to do this. Please advise.

    easy way around it is put it in a zip folder and send that, when they unzip it will be the size that you wanted it at

    google irfanview download it it should take only 20 seconds to download then open where you picture is stored make it bigger then save

    Make sure your e-mail program doesn’t reduce the size of an image when you send it.

    Some e-mail programs try to do that for you, but in this case it is not the right thing to do.

    As the person said above, if you zip it the email program will not have a chance to reduce it before sending it, as you are sending a zip file not an image file. Zipping is included on the right click menu in XP and Vista.

    If the image is already too small on your hard drive, increasing the size will not help, it will just make it look smeary and lumpy.

    If it is a picture , you may need to retake the picture and make it a higher resolution …….

    If not , even you have enlarge the picture , the picture will be blur and not clear …. But is the picture is big enough but they say it is small ….Then you must do something to your e-mail program because they resized your picture without your permission ……

    When you enlarge a photo, you lose quality.
