How can I stop yahoo answers from emailing me?

I can’t stand yahoo answers emailing things like, “your answer was chosen as best answer!” or “you need to pay more attention to your questions!” or whatever. Stuff like that. How can I stop them from emailing me alerts?

    You cannot stop them from notifying you when your answer is chosen as best answer but if you click on the blue Edit My Preferences icon on your profile page, as far as I know, you can opt not to be notified when someone answers a question that you posted.
