You can label him spam. It will go into the spam folder. Just a thought. If there is something threatening in those emails that could result in your having to contact the police or a lawyer, keep them in the spam folder for future reference. Even if there is the slightest chance. You have to show a pattern of behavior even if there is an outright threat.

If he contacts you using a different email account, block that one, too. If the emails are threatening, you can contact his ISP–whoever he has his email account with, and complain.

This is not a technical question so much as an advice question. You are MUCH better off to just delete them or not open them.

There are ways of blocking senders, of course, but it won’t solve the problem. He can always make a new email account or contact you in a different way, which he WILL do if he finds out he is being blocked. In fact, in a way, that’s what he wants. If you are blocking him, it means that you are emotionally effected by him. He wants that. If you’re not even opening the messages, it will hurt him more and he will eventually stop.

If the messages get violent or threatening, however, go to the police.

    Block him this way:

Mail page>>options>>mail options>>click the Spam option on the left>>scroll to “block addresses”.
Enter his exact address>>click “add block”>>click “save changes” at the top of the page.
Future mail from that address will be deleted immediately upon arriving at your account—–you’ll never see them.

He will NOT know that he has been blocked (unless you tell him, which is a very BAD idea), and will think you’re still getting his emails.
    Ha—-the joke’s on him.
