Any help on how to start emailing my other friends?

Ok, well I want to start emailing my class friends, but I don’t want to seem awkward to just start emailing them when I don’t really have anything to say!
Any help on what to do?!
other than chain mail.

Wait until you have something to say, then email them. It’s a perfect plan. And don’t forward chain emails, all that does is annoy people and make those people **** you.
Why don’t you use MSN instead? It’s instant and tends to be more fun than email
Wait until you have something to say, then e-mail them.
Like, if you forget the homework, e-mail them saying: “Hey, it’s _______ from __st/th period. I was wondering if you had the homework because I forgot to write it down in my agenda. Thanks.” Or something like that .
Or how about you download either Yahoo! Messenger, AOL Messenger, or AIM Messenger. It’s quick and you don’t have to have nothing to say really, just be like “Hey!” or “What’s up?”. Something as simple as that can lead to a very good friendship.
If they are already your friends then e-mailing them should not seem awkward to you or them. You could start with a basic e-mail like Hi ____ (friend’s name), this is ______ (your name), from your _______ class. What are you up to this weekend? Do you have _______ messenger? Would you like to chat sometime? Hugs, _____ (your name). Tweens and teens talk to all of their friends on e-mail and instant messenger, so it won’t seem strange, awkward, or weird to anyone that you e-mail.
