What should i say when emailing a coach at one of my college choices?

I want to email the coaches at the colleges im looking at because im interested in playing softball but i don’t know what to say in the email!

    Tell them just what you stated in your question:

    Hello Coach _____
    I am currently a student in ___grade and have an interest in ___ College as a student with a major in ____. I am interested in playing softball and would like to know what opportunities are available. I played ___position in high school…. include your statistics, etc., etc.
