Why would two people who have been emailing each other for years suddenly stop being able to do so?

My cousin and I have been emailing each other almost daily for years. Suddenly his emails stopped. Via the telephone I found out that he has not been receiving my emails either. We checked the obvious; filters, blocks etc. Tried different browsers and PCs. Neither of us get a failure notice when we send. Please help. He is my only living relative and lives in Pennsylvania.

It could be caused by alot of reasons such as being busy with daily living, change e-mail address, typed the wrong address when attempted to send msg, etc. Since you have your cousin’s telephone number, give him a call and verify his e-mail account. Make sure you try to visit each other b/c he is all you have. Take care.

in solving problems…good luck
Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. Suggested cures range from Update Adobe Flash Player and Java script to clear IE7 cache, cookies, and browsing history. Different things seem to work for different people. It’s causing attachments to not show, 999 errors where it won’t let you do a particular action and some people cannot send receive delete or move mail. It’s not just Vista either it’s happening to some of us on XP. If all else fails go back to classic mail via this link. click yes when asked do you want to opt out. Hope this helps.
I had the same problem not getting emails. I was still using yahoo classic. I switched to the new yahoo and now I am getting all of my emails. I do not know what the problem was I just know this fixed my problem. Maybe it will work for you also. Hope this helps!!!
