Hello i have my own website and I am looking to ad an email marketing listing so for when one of my products is on sale send an email campaign. However, my web designer says that would cost me $500!!! My online site is brand new and honestly budget is tight had spent all my savings on this new small company. any suggestions? I run a website that receives over 1.5 million unique users a month. The site serves an attractive demographic and is operated efficiently. I would like to stop using network advertising solutions and move into direct buying for my site. In other words I would like to see my CPM rates go up from the network level of around $1. What’s the best way to go about this?

Im fairly new at this and have been consuming so much marketing and advertising material but none on when to campaign.

Im going to be running a sale for all my Mothers Day gifts. My question is, how soon should I start advertising the sale? When do you usually begin to think about a gift for the special mom in your life?

I dont want to start to late and not give my potential customers enough time for delivery but I dont want to start to early and have my gifts be put in the back of their mind.

Hi, I was told by an online marketing person today that a rule of thumb for ad campaigns is 12 weeks for the ad to ‘bed in’. She said people need to get used to seeing the logo, the message etc. before they act on it. I’m doing newspaper advertising, somewhat erratically and have changed my message and colouring quite a no. of times, is this a reason my response hasn’t been so good? Help hugely appreciated.
