What do they mean when they say store associates are cast for abercrombie and fitch marketing campaigns?

By marketing canpaigns i mean being an abercrombie model. Does that mean you work there or what?
and how do they get the models for abercrombie kids, because they are too young to work there.

For example the daisy theme for ‘marc jacobs daisy’ or the appels theme for ‘DKNY be delicious’
the perfume is aimed at 14 – 16 year old girls
