I am using a moving average based on the previous fiscal year’s Cost-per-Lead but my forecast accuracy is only about 50-70% per week.

I’m looking to set up a good online store selling & focusing on one class of items (electronics, jewelry, office supplies etc.) that can be drop-shipped so I don’t need a warehouse at least in the beginning. Eventually, if needed, I will rent/buy a warehouse. I want to go full force creating a real professional website with a big marketing campaign with the search engines. (I am not looking for those websites that set you up & give you a list of drop-shippers that sell everything etc…..) I want to know the best way how to go about this & exact steps to take to set this all up and for ideas of what to sell or a good source that will help me in all this.

I think there should be an advertising campaign on behalf of good manners to improve mutual respect in public?

Rudeness to other people is a second class way of behaviour and people only get away with it because that fact is not brought home to them. So I think an advertising campaign to change attitudes would have a strong positive influence. I expect a lot of derision for this, but I have seen a rude workplace transformed into a pleasant place to work simply because it was no longer seen as acceptable to be verbally violent. What do others think?
Dr Weasel – I am not sure I am understanding your point – are you saying that it is difficult for anyone to agree on what is right and what is wrong, therefore one person assertion is another persons rudeness? If that is your point I would reply that ‘good manners’ would no doubt include respecting other peoples viewpoints without necasarilly agreeing with them, yet remaining civil. My question possibly sounds idealistic but if good manners are not taught in the home in all cases, then an ad campaign labelling people who get their pleasure putting others down as the fools they are then given that it is not a solution to the problem its a contribution.

What was the worst advertising campaign ever?

my wife and I were debating about this…..I said “nothing ***** like an elctrolux”…….but I think her’s was better “melts in your mouth not in your hands” M&Ms which is 100% garbage!!!
